Joe at Work

After obtaining his Masters in Business Administration, Joe filed for a work visa and began to work as a waiter at a local restaurant. Applying the principles he had learned from his graduate studies, plus some strong self discipline, Joe saved half of every paycheck. He had a dream and was preparing to bring it to life. After one year of working as a waiter, Joe was promoted to manager. Continuing to apply the same work ethic which had served him well, Joe was soon promoted to general manager. Another two years and he had the capital and experience to open his own restaurant. In 1986, Joe opened the May Dragon. Being a hands-on businessman, Joe became an accomplished chef as well. His creativity was revealed when he invented both the sesame chicken and the lettuce wrap. Twenty five years later, the May Dragon continues to earn multiple of accolades for being the best four star Chinese restaurant in Dallas.

Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to additional accomplishments. With his background in business and finance, it made sense for Joe to venture into other venues. He has owned an insurance agency and holds his real estate license.

Hard work, strong education and an insatiable drive for excellence has propelled Joe to ever increasing levels of success.
