Having immigrated to America and gone through the naturalization process, I understand what it’s like to come from another country to this great land of ours. I share a deep appreciation for the freedom and opportunities we have in the United States. As a naturalized American citizen, I have tirelessly worked to express my gratitude to my country, community, family, and friends.
While America is known for her generosity, our country is facing a growing immigration dilemma. The first step in any immigration solution is to gain control of our borders. I support increasing the number of border patrol agents and using whatever technology is necessary to combat criminal activity along our borders. I oppose giving citizenship automatically to the 14-16 million people who are here illegally. It is time we find a real solution! Once elected, I will listen to your concerns and work with others in Congress to craft a conservative, long-term solution.
